2. Your rights
You have the right, at any time, to: access your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing (Art. 21). Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Ansbach.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider (GoDaddy). When you visit the site, the host automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits — including your IP address, date and time of the request, the page visited, browser type and operating system. This data is processed to ensure a secure, stable and properly functioning website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the hosting provider.
4. SSL/TLS encryption
For security, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” prefix and the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar.
5. Free blueprint request & email (newsletter)
When you submit the request form on our home page, we collect your first name and email address (and, optionally, your preferred format). We use this data to send you the free “blueprint” resource and further emails with advice on selling.
Double opt-in: after you submit the form, you receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. Only once you click the confirmation link do we add you to our list and send the resource. This documents that the request genuinely came from you.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Email service provider (processor): we send and manage these emails using MailerLite, operated by UAB “MailerLite”, J. Basanavičiaus 15, 03108 Vilnius, Lithuania. MailerLite acts as our processor under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) and stores the data on servers within the European Union. MailerLite also processes statistical data on how its emails are opened and used to help us improve our mailings.
Withdrawal & deletion: you can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every email, or by emailing us at info@salesessentially.de. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. We retain your data for as long as you remain subscribed; after you unsubscribe, your data is deleted from our active mailing list.
6. Web fonts
To present our content in a consistent way, this site uses the “Open Sans” web font. The font files are hosted on our own server and loaded directly from there. No connection to Google servers is established and no data is transmitted to third parties when the fonts are loaded.
7. Cookies & tracking
This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or web-analytics tools. Links to external platforms (such as our Substack publication or LinkedIn) only load content from those services once you actively click through to them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our website or to legal requirements. The current version always applies.
